Tajikistan to build three wind-power plants
Tajikistan’s Ministry of Energy and Industry has announced a long-term program to build three wind-powered electric power plants along with small hydroelectric power plants (HPPs) by 2020.
The wind-power plants will be constructed in the next two years. The programme includes the construction of 189 small HPPs with a total installed capacity of more than 101 million kilowatt hours worth US $123.1 million in three stages.
