Status of oil and gas industry of the Caspian region discussed in Aktau
Caspian Oil and Gas Trading and Transport Conference was held in Aktau on Monday.
The conference participants and the delegates from 25 countries during two days discussed the questions of development of transport infrastructure, interrelation of the Caspian Sea and the countries-partners, the questions of trade in energy carriers, logistical problems, ways of their solution, and the analysis of the future oil and gas projects.
According to Andrey Rudenko, Director of the company-organizer Confidence Capital Ltd., the goal of the conference - to provide the participants with the most recent information on the condition of the oil and gas industry of the Caspian region, to analyze tendencies and possible scenarios of development of some projects of transportation of hydrocarbons, the industry and the region as a whole.
More than 150 representatives of the oil and gas sector from the near-Caspian countries - Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Russia, traditional regional partners - Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, and the USA, the EU and the countries of the Asian-Pacific region took part in the conference.
