Kyrgyzstan to conduct first independent analysis of existing electricity and heat tariffs
The first independent analysis of existing tariffs for electricity and heat is to be carried out in Kyrgyzstan.
"The analysis of the system capacity management, provided by the donor financing support, is to examine maintenance charge as well. The experts will study the whole chain - from generation of electricity and heat up to final consumers, explains Director of the Department on the Issues of Fuel and Energy Complex Aigul Sultankulova. "The distinctive feature of this analysis is that it will be conducted by independent experts. Such studies have already been implemented in Armenia, Kazakhstan and Georgia," she said.
