News Kazakhstan expected to become 'one of World's top 5 Oil Producers'

Kazakhstan should be one of the world's top 5 oil producers in the next ten years, according to Eurasia Review. The country, whose oil reserves are estimated at 30 bn. barrels, and which produced 1.54 m barrels per day in 2009, should at least double production by 2019.
