News Germany to invest in wind power in Turkey

The Turkish company Ataseven Energy Production and the German company Epuron have announced that they are planning to make a joint investment in wind power in Turkey. They have applied to the Energy Market Regulatory Agency (EPDK) for licenses for the establishment of 10 wind power plants with a total capacity of 2,986 megawatts. They expect to initiate the investment by 2011. Epuron anticipates investing about Euros 700mn. in Turkey energy projects.
