News EU - Moldova Cooperation Council Meeting

On Tuesday, 15 June, the EU and Moldova will hold a Cooperation Council meeting. On this occasion the ENPI Info Centre has prepared a press pack on EU-Moldova, available in English, Romanian and Russian.

Ahead of the meeting, the European Commission submitted to the European Parliament a legislative proposal for a €90 million macro-financial assistance package for Moldova. European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle told an EPP public hearing on EU-Moldova relations on 9 June that Moldova was “the front runner in EU assistance in this part of the world.”
