Alternative energy sources in Azerbaijan
In the near future Azerbaijan will use alternative energy sources. Industry and Energy Minister Natig Aliyev noted that the Cabinet of ministers approved the regulations on the production, use and transport, alternative energy, as well as identify the types of energy in the region.
The minister also added, that Garadagh district provides for the use of solar energy, the production of panels, ie the construction of new plants. According to him, "new modern equipment will be used during the production of alternative energy".
According to preliminary calculations, the energy produced from alternative sources in Azerbaijan, could reach 20% of the total balance.
