News Agreement on LNG Project between Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Romania

Azerbaijan, Georgia and Romania have agreed equal shares in a $5 bn. project that could supply up to 8 billion cubic meters of gas a year to Europe. Liquified natural gas (LNG) will be supplied in a pipeline to Georgia, bypassing Russia. It will then be shipped by  tankers across the Black Sea to Romania and thence to the rest of Europe via existing pipelines.
