SEMISE - Fact Finding Mission in the Republic of Uzbekistan

The SEMISE's Fact Finding Mission to the Republic of Uzbekistan is aimed at meeting the relevant Stakeholders in this INOGATE Partner Country in order to:

• Establish the Country's current positioning in terms of Energy Markets Convergence, Sustainable Energy and Investment;

• Identify the areas in which energy sector Stakeholders in this PC will require assistance from both the Ad Hoc Expert Facility (AHEF) and the Project Preparation Facility (PPF) facilitating their achievement of Astana Declaration's goals;

• Coordinate the assistance effort with the donors and International Financing Institutions acting on the ground;

• Promote both the Ad Hoc Expert Facility and the Project Preparation Facility and disseminate the respective AHEF Guidelines and PPF Administration Procedures Paper, as well as the SEMISE Implementation Strategy.
