'Capacity Building for Energy Regulators' - Training Course: Renewable Energy Regulation
The event will focus on the following issues:
1. Based on the evaluation of the recent training event in Istanbul it is suggested that the programme involves a short presentation by each participating Partner Country on the potentials of RES and the status of RES regulation. Each Partner Country will be requested to make a very short introduction throughout the three days of the event.
2. Energy and climate change package of the EU - introduced by a representative of DG Energy
3. Environmental policy instruments and their use in the energy sector
4. Renewable energy and their grid integration - introduced by a representative of a European system operator
5. Czech country case study on RES regulation
6. Hungarian country case study on RES regulation
7. Demand response management
8. Smart metering case study (Italy)
